MyTripQuote is operated by My Trip Quote LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company (“we”, “us”). By using MyTripQuote you agree to these terms.

What MyTripQuote is

MyTripQuote is a marketplace that lets travelers post trip requests and travel providers send quotes. We do not book travel, we do not hold or process money for travel, and we do not guarantee or endorse any traveler or provider. Some providers carry a "Verified travel agent" or "Verified travel expert" label. That label only means we reviewed information the provider gave us. It is not a guarantee of any offer, price, licence or service, and you remain responsible for checking who you deal with. Any booking and payment is a direct arrangement between the traveler and the provider, and you are responsible for checking who you deal with, including any licences or registrations the provider is required to hold.

Accounts

Give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. We may approve, decline, suspend or remove provider and traveler accounts at our discretion, including to keep the marketplace safe.

Keeping deals on the platform

Before a traveler accepts a provider’s offer, do not share or request contact details (email, phone, links, social handles) or try to move the conversation elsewhere. Contact details are unlocked after acceptance.

Accepting an offer

When a traveler accepts an offer, the traveler is committing to book with that provider, and the provider may be charged a fee for the acceptance (see Fees). Travelers should accept only if they intend to go ahead. The booking itself, including any changes, cancellations or refunds, is arranged directly between the traveler and the provider under the provider’s own terms. MyTripQuote is not a party to that booking and does not enforce it.

Acceptable use

No fraud, harassment, spam, false or misleading quotes, unlawful content, or attempts to disrupt or bypass the service.

Fees

Travelers use MyTripQuote for free. Providers who are travel agents receive their first 6 months free, starting on the date their application is approved. We decide who counts as a travel agent, based on what the provider tells us and what we review, and we may change a provider's tier at any time. Other providers, including individuals who are not travel agents, do not receive free months; they receive one free credit instead. Each 4 offers accepted by different travelers during a travel agent's first 6 free months earns one additional free month, up to 12 free months in total. Bookings count only if they are genuine. Fake, self-arranged or repeated bookings, including bookings made through accounts you or someone connected to you control, do not count, and we may remove any free months earned that way and suspend the accounts involved. We review bookings and may exclude any we reasonably believe are not genuine. After the free period, or from the start for providers who do not receive free months, a provider fee applies once we switch billing on, and no fee is charged before then. The fee is one credit for each offer a traveler accepts, and a credit currently costs $20 (packs of 5 and 10 are discounted; current prices are shown when you buy). Credits are bought through Stripe, are tied to your account, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and are used when a traveler accepts your offer. Approved providers who do not receive free months receive one welcome credit, once per phone number. If you have no credits you cannot send new offers. If we reasonably decide a booking should not have been charged, we may, at our discretion, add credits to your account. Credit purchases are final except where the law requires otherwise or we decide otherwise at our discretion. If a payment is refunded or disputed, we remove the credits from that purchase. If an account is suspended or removed, what happens to any unused credits is at our discretion. Your credit balance and history are shown in your account.

No warranty and limits of liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, MyTripQuote is not liable for travel arrangements, quotes, payments, cancellations, losses or disputes between users, or for indirect or consequential damages.
